Hydrochloric Acid and Diluent Nitric Acid, slightly dissolving in
water with CO2 and Liquid Ammonia; Being nonsoluble in
water; decompounding CO2 and Strontium Oxide at 900℃. |

| DESCRIPTION: |
White powder, tasteless and odorless; relative density:3.7℃;
melting point: 1497℃(in CO2); releasing CO2 at 1340℃; hard to
dissolve in water; slightly dissolving in ammonia and Ammonium
Carbonate; being nonsoluble in alcoholic; tending to dissolve in
Ammonium Chloride and ammonium nitrate; turning to be Strontium
Chloride when boiling with Ammonium Chloride; releasing CO2 when
reacting with acid; dissolving to be SrCO3 in water with CO2. |
| USAGE: |
Essential materials for
producing Strontium Salt; glass made from SrCO3 is usually used in
producing Cathode Ray Tubes of colorful television due to the strong
absorbency, making mini engine, electric magnet and loudhaiher. As
the carrier of Pd, it could be used in adding hydrogen.
Additionally, it is used in producing fireworks, fluorescent glass
paper, medicine, analysis reagent, precision of heart candy,
precision of metal zinc-electrolyte and painting of Strontium Salt. |
